The Seasons
Through the Seasons
From the first blossoms in Spring to the quiet beauty of winter every season brings something new to experience.
Seasonal flowers are gathered from whatever is flowering most beautifully in the garden at that moment. Rather than looking the same all year round, each bouquet reflects the rhythm of the seasons. Rather than following a fixed recipe, we allow the garden to lead.
Below are some of the flowers you may find throughout the year.
Spring
Fresh green growth appears almost overnight, followed by the excitement of the first flowers of the season. Some flowers you may find in your spring bouquets
jonquils, ranunculus, roses, stattice, orlaya, snapdragons, strawflowers, sweet william, corncockle, yarrow, forget me nots, borage, mint, lemon balm, poppy pods, nigella, scabiosa, feverfew
Summer
The garden is at its most abundant, filled with long days, warm evenings and armfuls of flowers. Some flowers you may find in your summer bouquets include
dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, amaranth, celosia, lemon basil, mint, feverfew, stattice, scabiosa
Autumn
The colours deepen and the garden takes on a richer character. Some flowers you may find in your Autumn bouquets include
dahlias, zinnias, celosia, cosmos, rudbeckia, heirloom chrysanthemums, lemon basil, feverfew
Winter
Winter is a quiet time in the garden for the flowers. The new seedlings planted in Autumn are growing strong roots and will burst into life when Spring arrives
